Course Description:

This half-day course is designed to help parents gain a better understanding of sensory integration and how it affects their child’s daily life. Parents will learn basic therapeutic approaches that are used to treat sensory integration dysfunction, thereby improving their child’s participation in daily life activities. These intervention techniques involve parent and child coaching, direct one to one intervention, home programming and parent self study.

Course Objectives:

  1. Participants will have an understanding of sensory integration
  2. Participants will have an understanding of how sensory integration affects their child’s daily life
  3. Participants will have an understanding of therapeutic approaches that may be used to treat sensory integrations dysfunction

Cost:

$100 Professional Rate

$50 Parent Rate (Scholarships available upon request)
