Planning Ahead for Your Child's Visit
Pre-registration can help speed up the process when your child is scheduled to come to Mary Bridge Children's Hospital for a procedure such as surgery.
You may receive pre-registration documents in the mail that ask for information important we need to process the paperwork for your child's stay. It will include:
- Questions about your child's health insurance
- Other billing information
- Emergency contact information
Please fill these documents out and return them to us in the prepaid envelope within two business days.
If we do not receive the completed pre-registration packet prior to your child's procedure, or there are remaining questions, a representative from our pre-registration department may call you. These calls are made between 7:30am and 8:30pm, Monday through Friday.
If you have insurance or other coverage, please bring your insurance identification card, your Medicare card and/or a DSHS card (if appropriate) to your pre-admit appointment or on the day of surgery.
For services that require copayments and deductibles or are not covered by your insurance, you will be asked to make payment three days before your child's surgery. You may be contacted by our financial counselor or you may call them at 253-403-1325 so any financial obligations can be taken care of before your child's surgery.
