Partnering with Health-Care Professionals

As the go-to source for information about wellness, primary care doctors and other health-care professionals have an important role to play in reducing childhood obesity and promoting healthy living. Our philosophy is to help providers do the following:

  • Focus on the overall well-being of each child.
  • Strive to uncover lifestyle factors that interfere with growth and development.
  • Promote active living, healthy eating and nurturing environments that help children reach their highest potential.

How We Help

Our  Healthcare Toolkit can help you develop a coordinated approach to wellness in your practice. Toolkit resources include tips about how to get started, guidelines for motivational interviewing, as well as information for parents and patients about healthy snacking, reducing screen time and much more.

Mary Bridge also offers a  Pediatric Weight and Wellness Program for children between the ages of 2 and 17. This program takes a holistic approach to helping kids and adolescents implement healthy changes in their lives.
